We both love art and the outdoors. Therefore, painting the landscape "Plein Air" in the space and spirit of Tom Thomson and the Group of Seven is our goal.
We enjoy the challenges and opportunities afforded by painting outside. It gives us fresh inspiration for creative art while braving the wind, cold, sun, bugs and certain animal visitors.
We hope that you can sense our feelings for the Canadian landscape in our art. Charlevoix and Kamouraska on the St-Laurent, as well as Algonquin Park, the Laurentians and the Eastern Townships are all favourite locations to paint, with more to come. We both love the changing seasons, wilderness and pastoral scenes, as well as urban landscapes.
Our wish is that you enjoy our paintings as much as we like painting them.
